Please make sure to download the route to the GPS computer or phone. Each rider is responsible for riding at their own ability level and paying attention to the other members of the group.
IMPORTANT:
As a reminder, safety is our number one priority! As part of our safety protocol(s), we mandate the use of helmets when riding at all times (MIPS certified helmet suggested) during group rides. We strongly encourage the use of front/rear lights for visibility to vehicles on the road, as well as having a multi tool, and flat repair kit which includes a multi-tool, spare tube, and flat repair kit.
TSCC members must alert group leaders of any underlying medical conditions. Riders must have an emergency contact in case of a crash or medical emergency during the ride. Suggested forms of contact include: phone, bike computer, road ID.
Riders are also responsible for having adequate hydration and nutrition appropriate for the length and intensity of the ride including but not limited to water, electrolytes, sports drinks, energy or candy bars, trail mixes, gels, fresh or dried fruit. Riders should wear appropriate clothing for the designated ride. Clothing can be subjective for each individual, so we invite any members to ask questions to our seasoned veterans as all these elements contribute to fostering your safety, security, health, and enjoyment of the ride.
